I am an Atheist, though I'd rather be considered an Rationalist. Recently I have decided to "come out" as an Atheist and, so far, it has been a real positive experience. I have found a number of people who share the same thoughts and views and I have been fortunate in that my family (Christians), have not removed themselves from my life.

Abiogenesis verified in lab (origins of life)

Abiogenesis is the explanation (theory) of how chemical compounds could form Ribonucleotides which then become life. Creationists assume that you are talking about Evolution, but this is the step before Evolution. To the point, it has now been replicated in the laboratory.
