It seems that I have made a mistake about the Family Guy show. It seems that I'm months behind in my viewing. I watch it on Adult Swim.
Along with the Venture Brothers.....
The show as some have pointed out has already been broadcast. And yes Brian did come out as an atheist. Most of the "Family" on Family Guy were not happy with it. Seems that Meg also finds
"God."
Ya know....with the is "God" person being lost and…

About a year ago I was sitting on the bus taking me from partial-hospitalization for depression and anxiety back home for the night, when the girl in front of me said something.
"Isn't Atheism, like, worshiping the devil or something?"
Stifling a scoff, I replied "No. It's just the absence of a religion. You know, because theism is religion and adding an a- to it means it's 'without.'"
I sat there in silence for the rest of the way home, amazed at my encounter…

The picture was released in the South American country following the savage slaying of taxi driver Rafael Vargas.
It was reportedly drawn by a female witness after what police think could be a drug-related killing or a crime of passion.
Man, did I laugh, ffs.

Jesus! Someone asked if Gandhi would go to hell, and the christians are back-biting rather viscious. Anyone want to make a youtube vid w/ this as the script??
I suppose because the way the bible has been written, it causes such diverse interpretations and the invitation for fierce debate within . tsk tsk tsk.
Its very interesting to witness.

Growing up I constantly heard that if you simply asked Jesus to come into your heart, he would. Well, in my first year in college I decided that I would put that to the test, so many of my friends were Christians, and were certain of their faith, and there was the possibility that I was mistaken, so I decided to make a sincere effort to accept Jesus into my life. I bought a bible and carried it with me and read it constantly, I took a cardinal's cross that had been in my family for generations…

I heard the strangest comment from the out gay Bishop of New Hampshire on the podcast edition of Gay USA, web.mac.com/depeche7/Site/Podcast/Entries/2009/11/20_Gay_USA_11.17.09.html
He actually said that he believed religion was self-correcting. However, he did explain that it was self-correcting over time. The point was brought up about the Galileo apology taking so long, but I did find his comment pointedly inaccurate. Religion changes, yes. Religion evolves, yes. Self-correcting?…

hmmm... I just would like to say that I don't agree when people say all religions are fiction and unscientific. Try to search the net and/or your library for 'scientific' religion. Yes, there is. One scientist provided that a religion supported (at least, with his interpretation) evolution.. hmmm...
If no one cares, its alright. We can live our lives the way we want to.
We have free will.
;-).

I just finished reading an article about how one of the characters from the cartoon show, "Family Guy" is going to reveal himself as an atheist.
It's Brian.

Alright, so today my dad finally got back from his deployment in Afghanistan and I drove to this gym where there was a ceremony to welcome them back. It was kinda cool; there was a live band that played the national anthem and the army song, and there was some free coffee which is always a plus.
However, during this ceremony, we were asked to pray, and by that I mean there was a guy who was praying and everyone had their head bowed. I mean, go figure, it's the south. Now, I'm used to…

Whenever the "So why doesn't God just get rid of the devil?" question comes up, the christians say "Can't be good without evil it has to balance out" blah blah blah
That's the biggest crock of shit I have ever heard in my life! That's like me saying the world wouldn't function right w/o child molestation,murder/homicide,robbery,cancer,AIDS,Diabetes etc....
This is 1 of the many reasons I dropped my belief in a diety because I HONESTLY do not believe if there…

I am a right big coward when it comes to injectionns, so I was very chuffed with myself after getting the jag that my doc insists I need.
Imagine how I felt, just in from the docs centre, donna makes me a cup of tea as I am still in shock, she is watching Sky News and the first story I hear is the the N1H1 strain has decided to fuck me right in the ass and become resistant to said injectoion.
I sought solice in a large joint.

I'm starting to get settled.
We have a wonderfully located apartment. I've found a job I really enjoy, and we have a car that gives us headaches. Things are normal as they get for anyone, let alone us.
Colin is settling in to the American lifestyle, and the romance of the exotic is wearing off.
It's the first time I've been back in the U.S in nearly four years. The only major difference I see is inflation. Things are a bit more expensive. There is a little reverse culture shock.…

LONDON – An auction house says it is selling a rare first edition of Charles Darwin's "On the Origin of Species" found in a family's guest lavatory in southern England.

Christie's auction house said Sunday the book — one of around 1,250 copies first printed in 1859 — had been on a toilet bookshelf at a family's home in Oxford.
The book will be auctioned on Tuesday, the 150th anniversary of the publication of the famous…

Palin dines, prays with Rev. Billy Graham in NC
MONTREAT, N.C. (AP) -- Sarah Palin on Sunday dined and prayed with the Rev. Billy Graham, who has counseled presidents and other politicians for decades.
Graham had never met Palin, who is scheduled to stop at Fort Bragg in eastern North Carolina on Monday to promote her memoir, "Going Rogue: An American Life." The former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee and members of her family…

Theists took over a good portion of the South and nick named it "the bible belt". If you go to any major metropolitan in the U.S. there's also a sect for the gay community. The same goes for foreign nationals residing in the USA (Korea Town,China Town,Little Africa,Little Haiti etc...)
Why is there no community for non-believers?

Well it seems that some “religious” organizations still think that they can control people and rule the world.
I don’t hate to break this to them but it is the year 2009.
That poor Jewish guy that got nailed to a cross, or so we are told, died well over 2009 years ago.
He’s dead.
Deal with it.

The Catholic Church has decided that they, not the American people are…
