Used to be "Take Me out To The Ballgame" was the song of choice sang during the seventh inning stretch at America's ballparks. Since 9/11 many have added or changed the song to "God Bless America." The staff of Think Atheist asked the community to support one of our own– me!– in the goal of raising money for the Light the Night walk I participated in tonight. The money raised for this walk went to the Leukemia Lymphoma Society. I met survivors tonight as well as people who were walking for loved ones they had lost, and it was an incredibly humbling and touching experience.
