People really like to post religious stuff on facebook and i'm never really sure if I should respond or not.  On the one hand, it might be easier to just let it go and not care.  However, if they put it out there on Facebook, then shouldn't they expect that people will comment on it?  I've been torn by this in the past year or so.

Don't get me wrong, there are some cases where it does need to be said, but I feel people are too quick to level accusations of trolldom.  Furthermore, there is an assumption that because a troll thread continues, the troll was successful, but it doesn't work that way.  If the people in the thread are having fun, or are getting fulfillment out of the dialog the thread generates, it's not a very successful troll.  No one really fell for anything.

There is reason I keep my atheism quiet for the majority of the time. Today at work I let it slip that don't celebrate Christmas which brought on the question of why not?
