I’m going to choose to be more serious on this one…sorry! Link to the story on bottom. I think the important question shouldn’t be whether or not Jesus died on a cross but rather, whether or not he even existed? Furthermore, if he did exist, does that still mean the stories that surround him are anything more than mythical exaggerations attached to… Continue

So today I posted a simple status to my facebook wall I regards to the day of prayer that has been issued. Everyone has been asked by government officials to pray that god will stop the oil leak and clean the ocean. I posted a simple reply to this insane and unconstitutional proposition and I was shocked by the response my friend Amber gave. If you were me, how would you reply?
Kyle Wilhelm: Today is a government sanctioned day of prayer for the oil leak to stop, violating the church… Continue

Do not think that, since atheism is negative, because of the letter "a" before a-theism, then it is really negative. Wrong. Atheism is positive.
Atheism is INdependence. "IN" in independence may be negative but "independence" itself is positive.
Dependence is negative.
If you don't agree, then you are IN-sane and AB-normal. Hahaha!
WE should be happy atheists. ^^,

For the first time in Australian legal history, the Parliament's Senate Economics Committee is investigating tax law amendments
that might (if enacted) close a loophole exploited by religious organisations.
Currently, Australian Tax Office (ATO) automatically grants tax free status to organisations that make "supernatural claims". This means Catholics, Hindus, Muslims,… Continue

Thanks to Facebook, I'm slightly irritated now. Of course the website is innocent, this is about a friend's post. We grew up in a tiny little town with hardcore Christian values. I escaped. She didn't. She posts Christian messages on her Facebook page every day. Today we were treated to this gem:
New Testament brings us right down to this one issue - if sin rules in me, God`s life in me will be killed; if God rules in me, sin in me will be killed. There is nothing more fundamental… Continue

My grandmother, bless her tiny, uneducated, bigoted, soul, once told me that the most terrible (pronounced ter
- ible) thing she ever saw was the death of an atheist. My grandparents had a friend who was an atheist. When he was dying, in the hospital, they went and spent his last hours on earth, trying to save his soul from damnation in hell. They prayed, admonished, begged, pleaded, and cajoled him to accept Jesus Christ as his savior and lord. And I have always thought about this poor… Continue

People like to feel that their lives have meaning.
Let me just examine that statement. In this context, people like to feel that their lives are worthwhile, that their actions are of some consequence, that there is a reason to get up in the morning, to go to work, to earn money, to go through the daily routines that we do to support… Continue

While on Yahoo, I came across a website called "Godparticle.net" in which they discuss the discovery of the Higgs Boson or God Particle.
I admit, I dont understand the entire article, although I rushed through it. Is it suppost to disprove the existance of god? or prove something?
And how reliable is this?
They also have a link to another website.... called Quantum Jumping, its title "The Inter-dimentional Quest for a better you"

The following is an excerpt that I transcribed from a debate between Robert M. Price and a Christian apologist about the resurrection of Christ. His words really spoke to me so I wanted to share them with the community. I have also posted a link below to the entire debate (video).
"I've often heard apologists boast that the resurrection of Jesus is the most securely established historical fact of all. More so than the existence of Napolean or the… Continue

Just a quickie blog. I just watched a recent episode of "Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman" concerning whether or not god exists and if we can "find" him/her/it.
I had not heard of A. Garrett Lisi before this, but I was very impressed with him. He is possibly on the verge of mathematically tying the forces that govern the universe via physics together. The show kept talking about how he was trying to "find the creator" via a mathematic equation, but Lisi himself stated that he… Continue

I get so amused by my religious friends when I force them to think about knowledge vs faith and belief. I say to them that they do not know GOD exists but rather they BELIEVE that he does. They have blank looks or the phone goes momentarily silent as they for the first time have to come to grips with this "inconvenient truth". Once they regain their composure they again will insist that they somehow DO know GOD exists. For one brief… Continue

"If you believe in God and there is indeed a God, you have everything (heaven and immortality)…
