How to Beat Your Wife. Why We are Atheists.

Without god(s) to tell me who to hate and who to love, I have to find my own way.
These are my values.
1) Judgement.
"Judge not least.."
Nope. Wrong again.
For those of you that spread pain, I judge you.
Not by skin color. Not by ancestry. Not by blood or body type.
By actions.
If you make a decision to cause suffering to another person and hide behind an excuse of religion, culture, preference or simple agreement…

CURSING GOD REAPS REWARD - SILLY ANECTDOTE
I think as Atheists many of us simply think differently in a very basic sort of way than our God fearing creationist brothers. Maybe even as children it was a little harder to instill in us the fear of an invisible man in the sky.
I woke up early this morning and lay there thinking about the things I was told about God. I think every other member of my family would call themselves Christian, though few of them regularly attend…

Life, the universe, and everything
As an opener I'd like to state that my worldview has absolutely nothing to do with my atheism. I like to think that were I a theist I would still hold life, the universe, and everything in exactly the same regards. This post is not intended to answer any questions about nor explain my view on theism. Correlation does not imply causation. That being said, let us proceed.
Where did we…

Trump Get's Owned By Obama and Seth Myers
At the White House Correspondents dinner on April 30, Obama and in turn Seth Meyers, LIT UP Donald Trump, who was also in attendance, about the recent idiocy that has been his commentary of moment. It was brilliant. It was payback. It was the best thing I've seen on TV in months.
Some highlights from Obama:
• “I know that he’s taken some flak lately, but nobody is prouder to put this birth certificate matter to rest…

On 'big oil'
I have found myself a few times stepping to the defence of big oil, and I think I should make my position clear.
Firstly, big oil isn't that big altogether. They hold 12% of the proven reserves. A bigger problem is big government oil (National oil companies - NOCs) than big private oil.
Secondly, I have a belief that natural resources should be taxed heavily. Norway has a 78% excess profit hydrocarbon extraction tax and I think that is the best solution to ensure equitable…

What is my moral obligation on my lost child?
I like to think that in spite of my lack of belief in a god or religion that I am a moral person. Not perfect by any means but I try. (Check out my blog on licensing my dogs. Better late than never.)
I have 5 children and the odds are that not all of them are going to be perfect. One high powered accountant, one serving his third tour in Afghanistan, one struggling but surviving in a downtrodden economy, one finishing his first year in college. If you are counting that is four. …

spanned multitudinous methods
the main goal of the most
efficient way of killing an individual
through the usage of
rats

*“Thou shalt not commit adultery.”
though rare in usage,
the good believers
who were always looking for better ways to torture & kill
conjured up the wheel
first in greece & then
germany, russia, france, sweden, england, etc.---
the wheel
aka, the breaking wheel,
was a relatively simple instrument

as the good believer pushes the handle
you begin to feel it in your elbows…
