Although a stake called a stauros (the Greek term used in the earliest Bible writings but where English versions incorrectly translate it to "cross") got used to execute… Continue

I have one coworker who I recently tried to tell how I feel. It started when she ask me if I go to church. I said no. She tried to quote verses from the bible and that really gets on my nerves but I was nice. She kept on sayin I love u and Im here if u want to talk. U need to go to church blah blah blah. I know she cares but it buggin lol.

Hi Sharon. Welcome! Luckily my family's not the problem, at least my immediate family. Unfortunately, I work with several very uptight Christians who spew forth the most bigoted stuff I've heard in person. And the director of my division is heavily involved in the church, so even though it's probably unwarranted, I'm afraid to tell people point blank that I'm an atheist. I have one friend at work who is a freethinker, along with his wife, so we have a blast when we work together. You'll find some great people here. Once again, welcome. And know that you're not alone. Feel free to vent your feelings.
