""Your response is that critism of any science of the Bible is a waste of time."
I would agree with Dustin here. Claiming that supposed miracles violate the laws of nature is kind of silly, because by definition that's what a miracle…"
"This is not the reason that Jesus never rose from the dead. The reason that Jesus never rose from the dead is because the whole entire story is made up, none of it ever happened.
This is one problem that is common in scientific and…"
"Mine isn't technically about the Big Bang Theory, its about the Greek Atomic Theory and materialize view of an infinite and evolving universe as it related to Greek ideas on evolution.
"No one should give any credence to the whole "Hitler was an atheist" nonsense. This whole claim has been cooked up in order to try and equate Nazism with Communism (which defiantly was a movement dominated by atheists) and to try and…"
""The gospel of Mark was not written for you as a 21st century American"
Exactly, which is my whole point of putting it in the context of the time it was written, shortly after the destruction of Jerusalem.
"It was most likely…"

I forgot the rest of what I wrote, but I'll just make this point again:
"The gospel of Mark is 100% star story, with Jesus as a fetus in a cosmic womb and as a new born…"
"You do much the same thing as Acharya S, you throw out tons of miscellaneous bits of information, which don't tie together and aren't relevant. We know this, we know that pretty much any name you can find from 2,000 years ago can be tied…"
"Whoops, my post got cropped, here is the rest:
The classic example is the issue of the "12 disciples". Yes, the 12 disciples are symbolic. All of the "pagan origins" of Christianity folks will tell you that it's based on…"

Having now read it, and the comment you sent to me, (BTW I'm the author of everything on my site), I'd say that I agree with *some* of the points, but still not…"

"Sorry, but nope. This is bun, based on crap from Acharya S, and stuff like Zeitgeist.
There are a lot of pagan influences on Christianity, but these all came after the religion was adopted by the Romans, they have nothing to do with the origins of…"

I just looked over your blog with the articles by Price. I am unfamiliar with his work. But, I do not see any major conflicts between my work and his, based on those articles, other than he seems to treat Judaism as if it was independent of the broader culture of the Levant. He seems ignorant of Yahwistic paganism and fails to explain the origins of Judaism from Canaanite/Phoenician culture. For example: the illustration he calls the Jewish cosmos is actually the Babylonian cosmos, a perception shared by all cults of West Asia. He also acts as if the Jewish messiah was the only savior mythology in Palestine and that is absolutely false.
In general, I agree with his assessment of Jesus as a “Jewish” myth; but, I go into much greater detail in explaining the origins and development of that myth. And, I stress that Judaism and Christianity took that mythology in very different directions.
