- I'm alarmed at the rise of Christianity in our government. I believe government must be Atheist for freedom to survive.

- Both of my grandfathers were deist. Both of their ancestors came to the new world to escape Christian tyranny in the old world.
Why they paid for a Catholic education for me remains a mystery. They both died before letting me in on the joke.
