I was brought up atheist but dabbled in Neo Paganism for a while. However I could never get my head round the idea that there was some kind of conscious creative force out there. I still celebrate some of the Pagan festivals - the solstices and equinoxes - which after all mark actual astrological events, as i think it is useful to have some sort of way of punctuating life. I have a lot of sympathy with the Christian ideas of forgiveness and trying to love other people and treat them as you would wish to be treated but feel frustrated that any sort of god has to be brought into it. I don't believe life has any meaning; or rather I believe that the meaning of life is what we as humans, make of it.
