finally, after five years in florida, i will be heading back to the bronx next month. i am so glad that i will finally escape this state. there are tons of great people in florida, and a lot of atheist and freethinker groups, but most are a good drive from me, and i never get to go to any of the meetings. i've yet to even attend a meeting for the local freethinker group because of scheduling conflicts.it's going to be an interesting move. although i'll be moving to a much more liberal city, i…See More

i just sent friend requests to all of the users that the user map shows to live in florida. such a small number! there are 20 members in the florida atheists/agnostics group, though. so that just leaves me thoroughly confused.

i wonder if sexual pleasure is required of sentient species. or perhaps if it is necessarily caused by it. once abandoning instinct as a motive for complicated actions, would a species need to derive pleasure from sex in order to thrive? this is something about which i must seek more information.
