- I was born in 1982 in Southeast Missouri. I grew up in Missouri, with the exception of a few summers in northern Illinois. I was home-schooled due to religious reasons, and raised in a rather strict Fundamental Christian family. I was involved in the Evangelical Christian lifestyle for most of my life, until I moved away from home, and was encouraged to take a good look at my beliefs by a very wonderful person. I chose to walk away from that faith and that lifestyle a few years ago. I now identify as an Agnostic-Atheist as well as a Secular Humanist.

- I found myself with the realization that I am a tiny being in a massive universe. There is no way I nor anyone else is qualified to say a specific belief structure is the only valid one. Thus, with no way to prove the validity of belief in god, I live my life using the natural tools of logic and reason.
