You know, that's a great story. In this case the truth helped set your father free and that is about as cool as it gets. I think it's a trade off. Lose the ignorant bliss and get a deep appreciation for life. What a great gift you gave to your dad!

I'm sure you've been a part of a conversation where you all talk about what you would ask God if you could. Mine would be WTF! I think your dad's idea of flat out telling him that he's a f*** up is a better one!
