"True. If the Christian god is even anything remotely like in the Bible, I certainly wouldn't worship him. Acknowledge him sure, but I still have no reason to submit to his childish whims"

"Right. Just because Catholicism could be proven true, that doesn’t make it right. Bottom line, what is the truth of Catholicism – Worship and love Jesus/God/Holy Spirit or burn in hell forever. So it doesn’t matter if it’s…"

"The non-existence of god, or gods, can never be disproved - it just can't, so give up on that notion. To disprove it, you'd have to get the theists to state, exactly and unequivocally, exactly how their god manifests itself so that…"

How would the world react.

So everyone on this site knows that you just can't reason with some people. Even when the evidence is in their face they will blatantly ignore it. So lets say that tomorrow Jesus comes down to earth and preforms miracles and without a doubt it's him and he says that the Catholics are right. What effect would this have on other religions ? on atheism ? You don't have to look at it like that maybe some evidence turns up and proves that no matter what anyone thinks their is no god and nothing can…See More

Carrying Capacity. Something That Scares Me.

This is a point that seems obvious to me and it's seemed obvious to me for a few years now. It seems like something everyone should know and that everyone does but everyone ignores. The world as we know it is not in a good state, this isn't the idiot cynical teenager inside of me that says were all gonna die because china has a hidden agenda or something we are really not doing to well. We focus a lot on the economic crisis, on the middle east, on oil and in the future we might focus on fresh…See More

I suppose i left Christianity. When I turned 12 i started to make more choices for myself and i had never really doubted god ever i was raised until then a christian. As i got older though i just found the existence illogical and silly. Eventually i decided i was an atheist.

It makes me feel a little uncomfortable

Posted on January 22, 2012 at 11:49pm 19 Comments

I see it often enough. At school an atheist and a theist are once again having a go at eachother for no reason other then one thinks differently. Atheist stereotypes generally consist of us having no morals and thinking we are better and higher then everybody else. I like to disagree with these stereotypes as many of us would but it bothers me sometimes the arrogance that we can show to theist.

I disagree with religion and I admit I have said things that I probably shouldn't of to… Continue

You're to young to be an atheist wait until your older.

I have lived in a house were religion isn't very prominent. Church always took second place to sports and as me and my brothers grew older we started to only go on Christmas and Easter. When I was younger I would always despise going to church but I had been taught that god was real and so was heaven and hell. Well by the time I hit about 13 I started thinking about atheism. There was a boy in my class who was an atheist and from an atheist family. I laughed at him once for saying "Thank God… Continue
