Why you left your religion.
As early as 7 or 8 years old I realized that the Christian teachings - bible stories about Adam and Eve, Noah et al were incompatible with reason and logic. You don't believe that do you? Really? At 7 or 8? - Yes. During a religious education class ( normal at that time in the UK ) I questioned the preacher giving the lesson about the story of Noah - Why would God kill all those people? New born babies, sheep, goats, 70 year old men and women who may only have done good in their lives, all killed - slaughtered by this God - it simply made no sense to me even at that age. And the response of the Minister "teaching" us? Do not question God. That was it - I knew right there, right then - this was not true.
