Why you left your religion.: Actually, I knew it was a fairytale at age 5 when Sunday School teacher said Jonah lived in a whale's belly for 3 days. And Noah story sounded straight out of a cartoon. Then she told story of Lot's wife turning to a pillar of stone...it was her 'warning' to obey God. It's evil to scare hell into little kids with fairytales. Fear is the key, of course. Once said, "f*ck fear & bible-god's a jerk any way", I was free.
It didn't happen overnight, it was a journey that ended in *true* freedom.
