Ever since I was born my parents have always told me there was a god but no santa clause or tooth fairy. I didn't understand how they expected me to understand why god was invisible and never speaking up for himself. It was hard for me, but I believed with all my might and became what you'd call a hardcore christian. - I am a 20 year old female who is happily married and freed from fear. I was born into a religious household, my dad is a former pastor and my mom was heartbroken when I told them I was an atheist. For years I questioned my faith and the bible trying to find out all I could. Getting answers from the bible can only get you so far, it doesn't grow and there is no hope for change. In science I found my answers and it gives me hope.
My husband and I are both atheists and we live a full and happy life, the world is bigger and more beautiful since becoming an atheist.

Ever since I was born my parents have always told me there was a god but no santa clause or tooth fairy. I didn't understand how they expected me to understand why god was invisible and never speaking up for himself. It was hard for me, but I believed with all my might and became what you'd call a hardcore christian.
