Your Religious Status
About Me:
I am a Marine.
That being said, I bet most of the rest of this has already been done by your own intuition; I cannot find many others around me who share my natural view of the world we all inhabit.
I rarely bring up my "religious preference" - though I no longer try to conceal it or censor myself when it does - and instead connect with all you good people here :)

Relationship Status
Why are you here?
I am here simply to connect with like-minded people!
To involve myself in discussions from a similar point of view for a change
Recognize people on their struggle between a way of viewing the world that they've been taught and a way that they are coming to see it now and offer them words that helped me, if not my experience directly.
And, of course, to enjoy watching my Baptist roommate get all red when he asks me what I'm doing night after night.
The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
There was no traumatic event that caused me to "turn my back on God". I was simply never fully convinced of the teachings I was given as a child, which made them all very easy to shake loose when I developed into a fully cognitive adult with a continuously burning thirst for knowledge about....well, everything :)
