"Doesn't the opening statement show bias?   Isn't the part I emphasized, above, an admission that they're retrofitting data to the theory?  Maybe somebody with more experience with these studies can explain what that means."

Misrepresentation of Study on Morality & Religion by Theists

I suggest you all check out the following paper. You can infer a great deal about morality from the conclusions of this paper. They aren't neccessarily in favor of religion. Also; this paper is being misrepresented by theists who wish to attempt to prove that religion provides morality. There are sociological implications they don't take into consideration and they (theists) have been quote mining it recently. I plan to do a video on it at some point - but everyone should familiarize themselves…See More

"Pooka, I couldn't agree more; the growing sentiment against formal education is driving me insane. It really frightens me when "stupid is good" teams up with the anti-public education strains of the Libertarian party."

"Because if there is one thing Beck understands; It is that his followers are horribly ignorant when it comes to accurate interpretation of history. Therefore, they are quick to accept what he teaches. This is it exactly. He is a con artist who has…"

Glen Beck, Liberation Theology, Social Justice and Christianity

It seems that Glen Beck is taking another crack at attacking "Social Justice". I always found it a bit curious that someone who preaches to Libertarian America would advocate for God and Christ.Especially considering what is clearly Beck's version of Conservative Libertarianism, which seems to be based solely on selfishness and acquisition. Which puts him in the curious position of interpreting the actions of what is written in the New Testament to NOT infer the "social justice" which it often…See More

Pookas are mischievous spirit animals that are always about, but rarely seen.
There is no fossil evidence of any Pookas existence, for we have cleverly removed such evidence from the crust of the earth!
We want belief in Pookas to be based on FAITH!
Always remember; humor is the great equalizer. This is why in the deepest and darkest of despairs and trials, we will often laugh.

If you can't look at your ideas in a humorous light, then you are in danger of closing your mind to the development of possibilities and fresh concepts.

I'm a fellow who has moderate leaning tendencies in most things. I try to find the common ground and an equitable solution.

But I look at such works by the Discovery Institute, David Barton's "Wall Builders", The Texas School Board...

and I see no common ground. I see an enemy that seeks the annihilation of any opposing thought. An enemy that wishes to do great and deliberate harm to the American people for one purpose only; the pursuit of further power and wealth at the… Continue
