About Me:
I'm just a regular guy who spent the bulk of his life as a very lazy Catholic. When I finally decided to get serious about my faith, and learn as much as I could, I slowly became convinced that it was all B.S.

I've spent the last year-and-a-half as an atheist and have been trying to educate myself. I recently started a blog to talk about my newly minted disbelief called The God Critic -- www.thegodcritic.com

If you're an atheist who wants to be able to argue intelligently about your unbelief, then it's important to study the arguments the other side is making.

A fairly recent book by Christian apologist, James Spiegel, called The Making of an Atheist: How Immorality Leads to Unbelief, makes… Continue

Lack of Communication: A Personal Story

Posted on April 24, 2010 at 10:01am 7 Comments

If you were previously a believer in The Almighty, did you ever hear him speak to you?

I never did. At least, I don't think I did.

However, I know a few people to whom God did speak, and I was always envious because God always told them what they should do with their lives. He told them who to marry, which house to buy, and which career path to follow.

I remember, when I was trying real hard to be a good…
