Why do people we all know and work with, just "assume" that we believe what they believe? This usually becomes self evident around christmas, when everyone just assumes you are a believer in christ?

Why are you here?: I'm here because I find the discussion to be very interesting and of a like minded approach to my own. How long does a person have to live before they become themselves?

The religion you left: Christian

Why you left your religion.: All of the accumulated bullshit of the first 40 years of my life. The obvious hypocrisy of what a belief in "god" allows people to do such nasty things to others and still have forgiveness.
