"Hairspray, the cheapest bottle you can buy, (try dollar store) gets out INK STAINS. Spray and blot...spray and blot...don't smoke while you are working on this, ha ha. Takes a while, but it works. Found that out when i was young, starving,…"

"Hydrogen peroxide is also MOST EXCELLENT for your teeth. YOu gargle it. It relieves toothaches almost immediately, if not keep repeating the gargle every hour or so... ALSO IS GREAT FOR SORE THROATS. Kills off germs making your throat sore, soothes…"

Stacy B replied to Desirai's discussion 'Do you feel offended at "bless you?"'
"This or that the devil was trying to steal your soul through your sneeze, so you needed protection. That's why I don't like "bless you." It serves no purpose. People say it's "polite" to say it when someone…"

Stacy B replied to GreatGravitas's discussion 'Go Back to the Constitution?'
"I didn't write history. I just relay it. Whatever the Constitution says doesn't really matter. It's the true implementation that tells us that the states were dominant over the fed, even for decades after we adopted the Constitution."

Stacy B replied to GreatGravitas's discussion 'Go Back to the Constitution?'
"Well, prior to the Civil War, the US Constitution didn't actually apply to the states except where it expressly stated that it applied. It is the 14th amendment's "due process" clause that requires states to uphold rights granted…"

Stacy B replied to Skycomet the Fallen Angel's discussion '"Don't go wearing that thing! You're pushing your atheism in other people's faces."'
"I'm sure Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s family would love for him never to have been an activist, but he felt the need to challenge the status quo, and look how much we've gained from it. Imagine how much we would be suffering if he had…"

Stacy B replied to Shine's discussion 'Should money for scientific research be diverted to a humanitarian cause?'
""Or ultimately, is human welfare the goal of our quest for knowledge? " I think you've got it right there. Without our "quest for knowledge" we would still be in the dark ages executing people who insisted the earth…"

Stacy B commented on Johnny's blog post 'Christian Terrorism in Ohio'
"It's such a non-threatening statement. It doesn't even express an opinion. I don't see how people can get so worked up over these things."

Stacy B commented on Rich Meredith's blog post 'Some thoughts about those of us of no belief…'
""To take away a man’s faith, his hopes and dreams, no matter how sad we think them is very wrong." Why would you look at it that way instead of as giving that man more stable hopes and dreams? Atheism isn't the antithesis of…"

Stacy B replied to Monica McGee (Monicks)'s discussion 'Is it a good thing to be an activist?'
"Activism isn't about the individuals we help today so much as about who we save from the plight altogether in the future. If we don't end the delusions now then countless additional people in the future will fall prey to them."

Stacy B replied to noisician's discussion 'An Atheist Defends Religion'
"Or you could believe in the beauty of nature and real things within the Universe...? I'm sorry that he's an unhappy atheist, but maybe he could work on finding joy in his life rather than manufacturing it through myth and happy, shiny…"

Stacy B replied to Dave G's discussion 'Go to prison, get preached at.'
"If I understand correctly it is a private prison and inmates have to volunteer to go there. If it is, in fact, a religious organization then they can even hire employees of a certain belief. It's exact nature could be up to debate, however,…"

Stacy B replied to Porter's discussion 'Free Will, Or Lack Of.'
"You know, I understand what you're saying and have heard that line of reasoning before, but I just don't believe that influences on our biology and psychology are that definite, nor do they allow for only one possible outcome. We…"

Your Religious Status
About Me:
Just another intelligent individual disturbed by the stranglehold religion has on our society, not to mention the myriad other less than positive things that come out of it.

In general, if you're not sure if I'm joking or not, your best bet is to assume I'm being a smart ass.
Why are you here?
I've been discussing and debating religion on a couple other sites for years, why not one more? My homie was kind enough to show me another fount of time-consuming entertainment, so here I am.
The religion you left
Was never a part of one
