About Me:: Born a hindu with an open-mind and liberal view, thanks to parents who always encouraged questioning and thinking. Sure they believe in God, but in a very positive and pleasant mannner, rather as an open concept. I suppose I've just come closer and closer to doubting God's relevance or interest in human affairs, or God's being an entity or persona. I suppose I'd be a pantheist more than anything, with the idea that God would be that which encompasses everything, something like time, that does not concern itself or have feelings of a sort.

Why are you here?: I need to find more people who are willing to drive out the ridiculous ideas behind many religious beliefs and ideals, namely the three Abrahamics to be precise. Even within harmless religions exist stupid ideas however, and these must be made extinct.

Why you left your religion.: I knew that in order for some of the unbearable and unbelievable atrocities that occur in the world today, that if there be a God, it has to be one that does not have Feelings, or is not a Being, but rather, Everything.
I also realised that too many assumptions were made, and misrepresentations of evidence were plenty in order to believe in a certain Faith.
I know now, that our diversity as the human race is the greatest sign there is that in order to achieve whatever we need to achieve, we have to crawl out our own path. Religion is NOT the correct answer to any of life's great questions. It is only the solace of the cowardly and the misled, or a safety net for the fearful and insecure.
