It's all Greek to me

My fiance is Greek Orthodox and, understandably, she wants to get married in her Greek church. Unfortunately, the church will not allow it because I am not Greek Orthodox.

I am of the opinion they are shooting themselves in the foot here because, again understandably, this has upset my fiance and as a result she is now distancing herself from the church. Surely they would be better to allow the marriage which would result in my fiance and our children attending the church rather than…

Yeah, years ago I got through most of it. Getting lazy in my retirement :-) Once I answered my own questions I started living as if the whole world of philosophy, religion, and beliefs no longer existed. It's been peaceful. Not sure now whether I really want think that hard again. We shall see.
