I just enjoy the company and conversation of other Atheists. Sometimes feel a little lonely here in the bible belt.

Why you left your religion.

Learning about other religions let me to see similarities between all religions. That helped me to see religion for what it truly was - 1) a way to answer the hard questions with answers that humans can accept, and 2) a way to control behaviors among the masses. After that it was a final realization that gods do not exist.
