About Me:

I'm an freelance Graphic Designer, Independent are my political views. I'm the mother of 3 grown sons who are smart, interested in good things, kind, and responsible. One is a nurse and all are musicians and have a love of music as I do. Rush has been my fav band since 7th grade (Snakes & Arrows must hear fr all atheists)
It's my favorite kind of entertainment... I'm a lucky Mom, very proud of them. I never once took them to church. I wish I had not been "raised in the church" my great uncle an "ordained minister"! I think it contributed to many many problems throughout my adolescence as the people around me preached one thing but lived another. Those around me who were in the 70's left-over hippie-stoner life-style we're to me ok, however because others taught me all about heaven and hell i was convinced that certain people in my life would for sure end up there.
I think that's mental child abuse and just as detrimental to ones own-self worth and life-view as physical abuse.
When I became and adult, I made my own decision to "leave my religion" relief I've felt ever since and I never put my boys though any of the nonscence, never told them they were sinners, something wrong with you from the get-go! I think that's abuse too.

Why are you here?

My life and the sheople around me have shown me all I need to know and not believe!
and Because In the words of one of my favorite Atheist's Bill Mauer, Religion is a detriment to the progress of humanity.
