I'm a 27 year old college student, Psyc major. I'm an atheist, freethinker, and skeptic always looking for likeminded people for fun and good conversation.

Why are you here?

To interact, debate, and share ideas with others who don't live their lives by ancient superstition, people who hold reason and the scientific method to the importance that I do in order to believe as many true things as possible. Also, to meet others who in my area and help to grow my local freethought community.

Why you left your religion.

I eventually succumbed to examining my beliefs with my rational mind, and found no reason to believe them to be true. Furthermore, everything that we natural world and the rest of the known universe, is exactly as it should be if there were no higher power. Also, further examination led me to come to the opinion that belief in the supernatural is not only unsupported by any kind of evidence, but it has so many negative effects on people and society.
