I can't speak for xtians of other ethnicities, but I'm finding that Black xtians can't distinguish between what is absurd and what is not.  I'm finding that they don't have the critical thinking…Continue

I was watching the movie The Debt last night.  I was wondering if in a few years the Palestinians won't have a group to go after Zionist war criminals.  As an atheist myself I was also wondering how…Continue

About Me:
I'm a person living in the United States. I have African, European and First Peoples ancestry. I'm not fond of European culture for obvious historical reasons, but there are people of European ancestry that I like. I try to have fair opinions about life, but not popular ones. I'm very opinionated, but willing to defend my opinions with an open mind. Although I'm an "atheist", I adhere to spiritual connections. I loved the ancestors that I knew and this is continually shared by me, albeit they are no longer here.

A few months back I went round and round about gay marriage with folks on this site.  However I'd like to ask just one more question especially among advocates of homosexual behavior.. What do you think of this, is it "normal", weird, over the top or what?  Not the separation, but the pregnant thing..

and if it is OK with you, were does this take us as far as relationships are concerned and human interactions ie: genetically male and genetically female? …

 At 3AM Easter Sunday:

Time is a man made concept. When our ancestors concocted time they had no choice but to infuse god, for one could not exist without the other, they are one and the same. Time needs a creation, meaning it needs a beginning and an end; when our ancestor experienced the death of another, they had to rationalize time as the beginning of life and death as the end. This became FACT as did god.

Now that time was connected to reason, so was creation connected to…

Freethinkers, Atheist, Humanist someone once said

That Atheist, Freethinkers, Humanist are JUST people who don't believe in god.

Well Freethinkers, Atheist, Humanist, etc. have tackled the god myth with conviction and come to logical and sane conclusions. They are brave enough to go against the "norm," sometimes at their own peril.  Why do they stop at other dogma that's just as inhumane and harmful as religion?  For example, Racism, Systematic White Supremacy, Critique of European Culture, Israel, etc.,  Topics, similar to…

What is Spirit to an Atheist?

Posted on March 28, 2012 at 4:47pm 1 Comment

It has become obvious to me that when Atheist speak, “reason” is paramount to any conversation.  In fact, I just attended the “Reason Rally.”  Reason, it appears, is the lifeblood of the Atheist movement.  But what is Spirit?  Where does or does it fit into the hierarchy of Atheist thought?  Plato and later Aristotle, whom I believed “formalized” the European cultural essence, viewed “reason” as the higher function of man/woman, while appetite (emotion) was more “base.”…
