Well at about the age of 15 or so i had a few minor questions regarding my religion and the priests could not answer them to my satisfaction. so i decided to sit dow and read the bible to see gods own word for myself. A few chapters in i already began to have doubts, and a few days later when i had finished reading that damned book i realised i only had 2 possible options that was to either believe what i had read and therefor become a malthiest, or to throw the whole lot out and become an atheist

The most important picture ever taken

Yesterday while browsing the net i came across a picture which left me almost speechless and in a state of awe. It was taken back in 2004 when they pointed the hubble  telescope at an apparently empty piece of space ,smaller than a 1 mm-by-1 mm square of paper held 1 meter away, over  a period of  4months. The picture you posted has been a source of humility and passion for me ever since I found it years go. I have tried time and again to explain the sheer magnitude of what it represents, with little luck. I have what most would consider a 'spiritual' experience when I sit and think about what that picture represents. Thank you for sharing it; I haven't looked at it in awhile. :)
