About Me:

I am a 27 year old freelance web designer who runs a Michigan Web Design company and I also (haven't in a long time) use twitter a bit (follow me). I work from home full time. I am training for my first mixed martial arts fight and I am an atheist.

I grew up in a Christian home and hated it for many reasons - more than just the lies, deceit, forced beliefs and other bullshit that comes along with religion.

I've been with my girlfriend for just about half of my life. She's been my backbone since day one of meeting her and without her I doubt I'd be alive today. I was a troubled youth and she definitely helped me out a lot. I will never let her go - ever :)

Why are you here?

I have no one in my personal life who's on the same side of the atheism debate as I am. So, I am trying to find people to have intelligent conversations with and learn as much as I can.

Why you left your religion.

All of the above. Plus, I watch my parents and the people of their church and it just reminds me of a cult. we know how bad cults are, so why shouldn't I hold them in the same light?
