I do IT work for a customer service/telecommunications firm, which is a U.S. subsidiary of HTMT Global. There are about 4000 PCs in the company with around 300 servers. When something breaks, I'm the guy they call :(
Yeah, that's one of the nice things about the field--it pays the bills. In a nutshell, I got into it because I was already good at it and just needed to polish my knowledge. I'll probably be here for a few more years, too, but I definitely think I'll be more happier in the field I'm studying. I decided to double in both philosophy and political science because I'm gunning for something academic. A professorship and a book deal would be ideal, but I need to make sure I'm at the top of my game for all that.
Heh, what's funny is that I actually bought from an international food market for a recipe. Yeah, I could have gone with another brand, but who could resist? Thanks for the comment and welcome to the site!
