Just want to introduce myself. I'm an atheist from UK and I found this place on stumble and though I would sign up. I'm usually pretty quiet on forums but guess it would be rude not to say hi. I come from an atheist family and never had much trouble in UK being one, so my heart goes out to all the people that have to deal with the loss of friends and family etc when they decide to leave their religion.
