To me, it is important to have people you can look up to in life. Living or dead, having an "idol" of sorts that you can look to for inspiration. Not an idol that can do no wrong, but one that you…Continue

"I'd say you have an ethical obligation to complete the work if you are able. With creative work, there is a complicating factor where intellectual property is concerned, but realistically, you aren't creating a personal message or…"

"Most of these clients I get are good people. But I'm not branding one person. I'm branding a collected view which is slightly misshapened by how fundamental each person's viewpoint is. I understand this same problem exists when I…"

"I'd personally be pretty sick to my stomach developing a brand for any time-wasting misinformation-spouting society-controlling organization. Consider working twice as hard to find other clients. I hope you do."

Unseen replied to Randy Riggs's discussion 'Graphic Designer Ethical Dilemma'
"Did they reject the work or just go deadbeat on you? Technically, I would think you own the work until you're paid for it and if they had used the work without paying for the rights there might be a copyright infringement issue there."

Why are you here?
I don't have any atheist friends so sometimes I feel the urge to talk to someone like-minded on current subjects and situations to get a better idea of how other atheist deal with these issues.
The religion you left
Christian
Why you left your religion.
Wow, loaded question! The first crack to the veneer I guess was the fact that I felt guilty all the time for my own natural thoughts. The second would be reading all the historical crimes in "the name of". The third would be when I started to research other religions and found the absurdity and gall it took to believe that I was lucky enough to be born in the right time and place to be part of my religion, which was touted as the "one way". Then came my first love science which lead the way to reason and I haven't looked back since.
