I grew up in Swede in the early eighties. I guess i´ve always been an atheist, my parents were atheists and i guess their parents were too, well defenetly my communist grandmother. I would guess most of my close relatives are atheists.
But we are all members of the church, and we´ve always gone to church when someone gets married baptised or burried. i guess i can call myself a cultural christian
Why are you here?
I was born In Sweden, Atheism is the norm over here, 60-80% consider themselves atheists, to me Atheism is very natural. I always cringe if someone starts to talk about god. Lately i´ve been watching a lot of videos on youtube. And you can tell that a lot of American atheists are feeling prosecuted, and people are feeling that they have to excuse themselves for being atheist, Over here God-Worshippers are the weird ones. And i think the world would be a better place without people surrendering their minds to reverends, priests or imams.
I guess I´ve been caught up and interested in the struggle for atheists over the world and realised how lucky i am to grow up in a Godless family and soceity.
The religion you left
Was never a part of one
Why you left your religion.
I would say i was never part of it. I always thought of it as a fairy tale.
