Maybe I'm crazy but think about this. The most incredible, powerful, useful thing in the world is free and it is built on on open source. The internet! Maybe if we did away with copyrights and patents, everything would bloom like it has. Maybe instead a company holding a patent for a drug at three hundred dollars a bottle we let competition bring the price down. It would cause losses for the the powers that rule us, but it would create competition so companies would try harder to innovate. See More

A few guidelines for posting on TA: The FORUM should be used for discussions and debates, not for personal stories, for seeking advice, etc. The latter belongs more appropriately in your personal blog. When crossposting, please be sure to link to your source.
