Until recently, I have been working primarily as a professional actor since graduating from the Richard Stockton College of New Jersey in 1999, excepting one year pursuing an unfinished masters in acting at the semi-defunct Actors Studio Drama School in New York.
From late 2001 (not including a few gigs with a few other companies) to December 2006 I was performing with the American Shakespeare Center (formerly Shenandoah Shakespeare) in Staunton, Virginia, both as a member of their touring and resident troupes at the Blackfriars Playhouse, to which I fully intend to return when time allows.
In January 2007 I began a new phase pursuing a masters degree in political management at George Washington University in Washington, DC. I completed my studies in December of 2008.
I am also a songwriter and musician. In 2004, I released my debut album, Paul is Making Me Nervous. You can get it at iTunes, CDBaby, and other places. I’m working on a second full length album, but I don’t expect it will be finished before the universe collapses in on itself. Until then, visit my official music site at http://music.paulfidalgo.com to download lots of new tracks, and check out my catch-all blog "Near Earth Object" at http://nearearth.wordpress.com and my posts at Unscrewing the Inscrutable (http://unscrewingtheinscrutable.com).
I’m lucky to be married to Jessica Dunton Fidalgo, who is a brilliant actress and writer, and has a hilarious blog at www.jessicadunton.com/blog. Please do not hold anything I say or do against her.

Oh, I hear ya. What I've found myself doing is making the rounds to see what everyone's up to during my down-time at work. In any case, I'll be sure to check your blog. Atheist standing in American culture is something which greatly interests me (even wrote a 20-page report on the matter).
Hey Paul Great bio! Ill check out your tracks. Welcome to Think Atheist! Glad to have you apart of Think Atheist Network!
