At what point do beliefs stop being religious and actually become insane? In the case of Daphne Spurlock, it was when she picked up the knife and tried to cu...

About Me:
I'm a husband, a father, atheist and newly crowned World Speed PWNage Champion 2011.

My channel was originally in response to the enactment of the now infamous Blasphemy Law here in Ireland. I'm going to do my best, as long as this legislation is in effect, to blaspheme as much as possible.

My videos are a mix, some are based on reason and evidence, others on sarcasm and cheap yuks. I just don't see the point in spending a week researching, scripting, editing and uploading a video for someone who is incapable of recognising what basic logic even is.

I don't look down on Deists or Theists, I do not consider myself more intelligent or think my opinion is inherently of more value simply because they believe in something I do not. Without freedom of thought and expression even the most important ideas and ideals become stagnant.
Why are you here?
The opportunity to discuss topics of secularism and network with like-minded individuals/groups.
The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
Straight forward questions never lead to straight forward answers from proponents of the faith.

Love (and hate) In An Elevator

Posted on July 12, 2011 at 9:19am 10 Comments

I know, I know. We’re all sick to death of the story of Elevator Guy (I refuse to call it ElevatorGate, come on people, that hasn’t been funny since CrackerGate). That is to say we’re so sick of it that we feel compelled to read every blog and watch every video we find on the topic and then pontificate on the subject at length in the comments section in the most smug, sarcastic and polarising manner possible. That goes for people on…

Ireland: Beyond Belief?

So, it’s the 21st Century and many of the things that were promised to us as kids have not yet come to pass. Flying cars?  Nope.  Entire meals in pill form?  Afraid not.  Robot butlers programmed to speak in haughty British accents that let us know exactly what they think of the meat-bags they work for?  Not even close. All forgivable I suppose.  There is, however, one thing that we really don’t have any excuse for not having.  Secular governance.…
