Why are you here?

Had an epiphany in the 3rd grade that there was no god. This did not go over well with the nun who was teaching the class. When I was sent home, I was slapped and told what a bad person I was. Loved George Carlin's take on religion and government. Think the bible is a piece of creative writing.
And I hate when someone prays for me or gives me their blessing.

Why you left your religion.

The religious people that I was exposed to as a kid hid behind their religion. And now I am a middle aged/senior woman and nothing has changed.
