About Me:
THIS IS WHO I AM - Muqtasid Muhammad Abdullah: I am selfish, a skeptic, free thinker, secretive, organized, clean, rarely worries, solitary, high self control, dislikes large parties, prefers organized to unpredictable, prudent, observer, tough, self reliant, very good at saving money, introverted, perfectionist, mind over heart, not controlling of others, hard working, confident, resolute, does not make friends easily, finisher, does not like to stand out, very practical, intellectual, unsympathetic at times, honest, respects authority, follows the rules, & very cautious.

I am at peace with myself and to whom I am. I have a stress-free fulfilling life because of who I am and what I wanted to become. A single man w/ an easy job living a simple, relaxing lifestyle on a single man's income w/ no major responsibilities such as no wife, no kids, no car etc... I chose to live this life because I feel that life doesn't have to be hard, dramatic and complicating. I do what I can w/ what I have. Heck, I really don't have much to lose. I have lots of time to spare. I always get plenty of sleep so I am always well rested everyday. I may not prosper much later in life but, at least I will no doubt live long.

Everyone's opinion is no better than the one's before & vice versa. When people don't respect others despite their differences, then war is always eminent. War is brought on by differences of opinion and ways of life. Accepting others differences is mutual respect, which should be exercised throughout all walks of life. I think it's pitiful that we as humans pick on one another based on what we may or may not know. It's an endless debate and it must stop. Keep doing what you think is right, but don't expect someone to agree with you.
Why are you here?
To be a part of an atheist community and to explore other fellow atheists thoughts on our non-belief system etc...
The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
I can not live my life wondering if I am going to heaven or hell. I have rebelled against Islam as a teenager. I am not against people who believe in one GOD (monotheist) and/or who believe in many GODS (polytheist). After I became legal (18), I finally decided to accept the fact that I did not believe in a GOD or some other divine entity (atheist) and just live according to mother nature...IN A MORE NATURAL SENSE. I'm more agnostic than atheist because I rely more on scientific evidence or proven facts about the world around us. Some might say that I'm going to hell for this. Well, that is their opinion and I can only respect that opinion whether I like it or not. Expressing our opinions is what make us free thinkers and unique individuals. I have also stopped trying to live up to people's expectations. Living my life as a complete, brutally honest individual is how I express myself. The one thing we do have in common is that we all embrace peace. That is the common goal for all walks of life. So, believe me when I say this. I converted not to hurt others, but to look in from the outside and to enjoy freedom at its best.
