- I recently retired after 10-1/2 years in the U.S. Air Force and 31 years with Lockheed Martin. I was raised in a "fire and brimstone" environment. My relatives have been (and some still are) religious leaders in their communities. HOWEVER, what the public saw was very different from what was going on behind closed doors. But hey, I do believe in the creation story. I'm certain that man created God.

Thank you for your comment, as well. Well, that little line was in fact a tweet. I get a lot of rebuttal and discussion on Twitter, which is where I spend the bulk of my online activity, followed by my blog which I call my home, and here which is my second home.
I tweeted that as a reply to the typical "you can't prove god doesn't exist" claim from believers. I agree wholeheartedly, it is a moot point, in my opinion.
I don't need to, nor I want to, nor would I even try to prove the non-existence of any god, however, when I get so many inane replies on Twitter, I try to make these people think differently, but in their own terms, so to speak.
