- At the moment I'm nearing the end of my enlistment as an Air Traffc Controller with the Marines, anxiously awaiting the return to school. I have a deep love for music, especially percussion and teaching it to an eager mind. I can't get enough of comedy/sarcasm, good books and movies.

- I have always wondered, at least since I started thinking, how anyone could be apart of religion. Just the slightest glance at the news or history should raise doubt, and any further reading should be the end. The more I read, the more nauseating they all become. If that wasn't enough, then seeing the southern baptist back home does it in, hahah I hate the ignorance.

A little over two years ago, I flew home to attend my grandmother's(granny) funeral/burial service. The year leading to that moment had proven it to be inevitable, and was merely watching the clock thinking "when?" So when news did arrive about her passing all I felt was indifference. Just so you know Granny, this is a woman who I loved dearly, one who I have the fondest memories of, and once thought that when she passed, my world would crumble. Only, it did not. I have never written a blog, and really haven't written much of anything since high school. I certainly don't have the best grammar or skill to draw attention to what I write, but oh can I rant. Today's rant I suppose, shall be rather short and will most likely jump around a lot, but then again who knows, it may not even resemble a rant. - I grew up in Tucson Arizona and currently live in Elfrida, Az (about 30 miles north of Douglas, Az). I've been a desert-rat most my life with few times living in Arkansas and once in Louisianna. I have always been fond of the southerners....quite friendly a chatty most times. My parents came from up north but moved to AZ when I was a toddler. Some do think I am from the south because of my mannerisms and friendly nature. Plus I enjoy conversation on a wide range of subjects.
