Vatican Newspaper wrote a few articles on it for the movie's 30th anniversary, and one of articles they wrote has a line that says:
"...there is "no lack of evidence" that The Blues Brothers can be considered "a Catholic film."

My wife and I are planning a 3 week trip to NZ in Oct. Can you recommend things to see in your area, along with nice, but moderately priced accommodations. Maybe we'll have a chance to network with you while there.

So far, I do most of my deconversions online, with limited in person stuff (mostly due to time constraints).
Stay involved with me in my posts. You will learn a lot. Right now I am working heaviest in the athiest community building a strong community. Once I start hitting the major religious sites there will be a lot of inbound material. I would hope to have a strong deconversion community that we can all just knock these folks over, one by one - bink, bink, bink .... over they go.
I love to help people deconvert, work with recovering religionists, post funny jokes.
Most recently: "Showdown God vs. Star Trek Q" and all kinds of interesting atheist stuff.
