I have been looking for a network of people for a very long time. Finding just one person, let alone a group of people, that encapsulates my passion for progress, but has humility (a mandatory virtue if I am to call someone "friend").

Why you left your religion.
I didn't so much "leave" my religion as I did simply sway from it. I spent the first quarter of my life asking questions that never got answered, and I suppose I just got tired of it. I also have a strong background in philosophy, and logical thinking necessitates religion not.

Book: "What Are You Without God" by Christopher Krzeminski

The subtitle of this book is "How to discredit religious thought and rebuild your identity."  You can find it easily on amazon.  The wording of the book is very complex, but not in such a way that it was difficult for me to follow.  After reading it for awhile, you realize that it has to be that way... the wording needs to be very precise, because if it's not it can be argued with.

I'm posting this for attention.  I feel like I need to be honest upfront.  Anyone who writes a blog wants people to read it.  With that said, this post is going to be relatively short.  My main goal is to meet like-minded people anyway, and this might seem counter-intuitive, but atheism is really only a miniscule fraction of our lives, right?
