That's a great point. Does it really matter if the government knows you're with someone? When did it become their business anyway? The true connection is between the people, that's what matters. I don't care what box I check on my tax forms. I wouldn't insist on being with an atheist, but when I have kids I would never allow them to be brainwashed, as so many religious people do.

You may be unconventional, but you're rational. Happiness really is the important thing. What is your equation for happiness? (Or do you even have one? haha)

Yeah, it's pretty interesting how we can be seen like that. Meanwhile, we tend to be very moral people. And even better, we're moral for the right reasons! I don't have to believe a scary fairytale in order to do the right thing.
