- I came to realize that my belief in God was unjustified several years ago. At first, I could not come to terms with it. I tried to immerse myself in my church, becoming more active than ever, in an attempt to quell the nagging doubts which became more and more pronounced every time I opened a bible, or even had a conversation with a fellow believer. I decided to leave my church and religion for good about three years ago. Since then I've re-examined many of my views on life, and my views concerning social issues has changed dramatically.
About a year ago, I started exploring the possibility of Military service. I have since joined the Army, and I am about to begin Basic Training.
