- Yep, same here. I have just recently realized I have been an atheist for quite some time too. It takes quite some time to break all the belief systems your mind holds onto, especially after coming out of a religious belief system. I am starting to see that nothing is true anymore, I just thought it was at the time. I try to keep my mind open, seeing things as they are and always have been, for the first time in my life. That is true freedom my friend! What a joy I found in atheism lol!
