Ha! Yeah, I bet you are happy you are not in the bible belt. I'd like to visit some place like Mississippi just to experience it for my self. Compared to Denver it's quite a bit more religious and racist from what I hear. Even still, I'd love to see some of the old houses, land, and just change of landscape.
She's an artist and I think it was a combination of wanting a change of scenery and also to be in an area where art is supported more. The warm weather probably didn't hurt either :)
You know, you had doubts of God communicating as one of your reasons for questioning religion. This is something that I can't figure on how people that have a strong faith deal with. I wonder what makes them think that the person claiming to be in touch with God really is. There's never any proof it's all taking one's word right?
