Why you left your religion.
Exploring the vast plethora of different belief systems within Christianity and attempting to justify my own (Calvinism) inevitably led to the realization that all denominations were essentially both right and wrong. Certain parts of the Bible clearly supported a certain doctrine and other parts of the Bible clearly supported doctrines in opposition to that. This is why there is no such thing as “The Christianity” but rather “The Christianities” so to speak. Without a solid foundation for a consistent belief system I soon realized how absurd it was to believe in a God who has a message to convey to mankind. Philosophy and science have since made me into an intellectually fulfilled non-believer.
