The religion you left
Why you left your religion.
As a young child I loved the beauty, music, devotion, even the smells of the church. My Mother decorated the alter with flowers several times a year. It had a reverence and goodness.
I loved singing so the choir was my favourite.
I believed in my God. I also believed the sky was blue, the grass was green, it was a fact of life. No questions asked. A child's total acceptance of my family's heritage.
I read and read, listened to non believers and realized I was in complete doubt of everything the bible presented to the masses.
I simply evolved.
