Believers study the bible for inspiration, doctrine, etc. Non-believers can study it to point out absurdity, contradiction, and other negative points, as a sort of "anti-apologetics." I was raised Catholic and have a twin sister that is a nun. I started questioning my Catholic faith as a young adult but it has been a slow progression to actually giving up the concept of God completely. I am leaning slowly into complete atheism but I will admit there are times I still struggle.

I stopped going to church regularly once I started College. I also began to question the patriarchal and at times what I perceived the misogynistic attitudes of the church.
